This regulation makes establishes minimum entrance performance standards for individuals to be evaluated for vacancies and/or promotions in the Service Program/Service Program Supervision classification series as of September 1, 1990. For individuals employed in the Service Program/Service Program Supervision classification series prior to September 1, 1990, who do not meet the entrance performance standards, the provisions of this regulations allows these employees to be retained in their current classification or any lesser classification without having to meet the above requirements. This includes the same classification in another local agency. These individuals will be required to meet the requirements for application to any higher classification other than their current classification.

Đảm bảo nhân viên cung cấp dịch vụ chăm sóc trực tiếp có trình độ học vấn và/hoặc kinh nghiệm cần thiết để phục vụ hiệu quả cho cá nhân, gia đình, nhóm, cộng đồng và tổ chức.
Thiết lập các tiêu chuẩn hiệu suất đầu vào tối thiểu thống nhất trên khắp các cơ quan LDSS trong việc tuyển dụng các cá nhân trong loạt phân loại Chương trình dịch vụ/Giám sát chương trình dịch vụ.
