Commonwealth of Virginia, Virginia Health Department (VDH), Notice of Intent to hold a public hearing for the Preventive Health and Health Service (PHHS) Block Grant. 

All interested individuals and groups are invited to participate at the public hearing on the PHHS Block Grant. 

In accordance with Title XIX, Section 1905 of the Public Health Service Act, the Commonwealth of Virginia hereby gives notice that VDH will apply for FY 2020 PHHS Block Grant funds for programs addressing Healthy People 2020 national health objectives. 

The FY 2020 PHHS Block Grant Work Plan will be available on the agency’s website at https://www.vdh.virginia.gov/content/uploads/sites/179/2020/07/VA2020V0R0WorkPlan.pdf

The public hearing will be held on Monday, August 3, 2020 from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m.  Due to COVID-19, the public hearing will be conducted via conference line.  Public comment on the plan can be made at the public hearing by calling 1-866-845-1266, participant passcode:  63944291# or by email to Heather.Board@vdh.virginia.gov. 

Public comments provided by email will be accepted from the time of the posting of the Notice of Intent until  Monday, August 3, 2020 at 3:00 p.m.
