What right does a teacher have to require a student to read and write about trashy, oversexed literature?  Is this REALLY the best use of our money, time and a bright young mind?  This is less about EDUCATION than it is about the exploitation of freedom and individual rights.  How can we expect to raise responsible civically minded Americans if we support teaching rubbish in the classroom?  Who is this truly about?  Examine your priorities and legislate accordingly.
