Teachers should have the ability to teach their students in the way they believe effective. Students attend school in order to leave with a sense of preparation and realistic perception of the world around them. The school board will have to allow these sensitive subjects to be presented in a respective manner for teachers to help their students reach a mature opinion and attitude towards these subjects. Teachers do not have the intention of offending students or the opinion of their parents... there are just some things that cannot be avoided in discussion in an educational environment.
