As a teacher, I can't believe I allow my students to go home to parents each night who let them stay up until all hours playing video games, surfing the web without parental supervision and seeing messy, dysfunctional families!  But I do because I trust that the parents are doing their best to raise their children and have them ready for school the next day, prepared, fed, and ready to learn.  How about trusting professionals to do their job.
