As an educator, I am offended by the fact that I am treated as though I cannot do my job properly.  I treat my students the same way I would want my children to be treated, and if I am doing anything that has questionable material, I already notify parents because I am a professional.  In this age of technology, all parents have to do to know what is going on in a class is check the web or email a teacher.  How about we spend a little money and time passing legislature that gets money and resources into schools.  If you keep micromanaging, you will find your next session will be addressing the attrition rates among highly effective teachers in your schools.
