I trust that if parents have a concern about what thier children are reading in school, they will take it upon themselves to review those materials on thier own. It is a slippery slope to book banning, and I feel it is safest for our children to learn about the "dangerous" topics in a safe, controlled environment with responsible educators and enter the world prepared to think critically about a full range of ideas.
