I believe that your consideration of providing parents and students the freedom to discern and choose to participate is very important and respectful of diverse cultural values and beliefs. As a tutor/mentor to students from diverse cultures that attend Fairfax County's public school system it is imperative that parents be allowed the opportunity to get advance notification and make an informed determination on the exposure of thier child to sensitive material.

I strongly support amendments to the regulations that will facilitate children and parents the oppportunity to opt-out based on their own cultural values.

Greatly appreciate your respect of Virginia's diverse citizens.
